“ May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be an
acceptable offering in your sight, Oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer.”
I have mentioned before how much I like the Jacob narratives in the Bible.
Someone at coffee hour last week said they had hoped I would be preaching
on the Genesis reading. This week I am.
