Each Sunday at the 12:00pm service, Sunday school is offered in Spanish to our hispanic families. Once a month, we offer family Christian Education to children and families on a Friday night. We use Biblical curriculums that follow the church calendar and the church lectionary.
Each First Sunday of the month, the children read the lessons and the prayers of the people, and families usher. We teach the children to live a Christian life and provide opportunities to practice this in class. We also have discussions about how we can continue to live this way during the week. We work in multi-age teams to accomplish goals and emphasize each individual’s importance to the team. We also offer classes on the mass that highlight what we do in church and the importance of the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist. Our goal is to provide our children with a solid grounding for future formation leading to a Christian adulthood.
Todos los domingos en el servicio de las 12:00 pm, la escuela dominical se ofrece en español a nuestras familias hispanas. Una vez al mes, ofrecemos Educación Cristiana familiar a niños y familias un viernes por la noche. Utilizamos currículos bíblicos que siguen el calendario de la iglesia y el leccionario de la iglesia.
Cada primer domingo del mes, los niños leen las lecciones y las oraciones de la gente, y las familias dan el comienzo. Youth-Juventud
We believe our youth learn by following the examples of elders and by serving. Our youth are involved in serving in our Non Food Pantry, serving as tech people, assisting younger children in programs and Sunday School, and serving as readers, ushers, and acolytes.
